Offline Promotion for Your Woman Owned Business

Offline promotion is just as important as online promotion. By "offline" we mean promoting your business "outside" of the Web. This can be done in several unique and creative ways. We are going to outline some of those ways here for you.

  • Community: There are several creative ways to promote your business right in your own community!
    • School Functions
    • Social Events
    • The Arts District
    • Charity Organizations
    • Other Community Functions
  • School Functions- All during the school year, your district hosts school functions to raise money for their school. This is a perfect place to donate some of your services or products, thus helping the school and in turn creating a high profile for your business. Some examples would be:
    • Free calendars for the school to sell with your advertising imprinted.
    • Donations of your products or services at the "school holiday" functions.
    • Setting up a web site for your local school
  • Social Events- Be sure to include yourself in social events going on around your community. These are great places to promote your business. Hold some social events of your own and introduce your business to your community.
  • The Arts District is always looking for donations from local business to give as awards and prizes in their arts festivals and contests. Make your business available!
  • Charity Organizations are always in need. Take a look at your business to see what you could do to help the local charities in your area.

  • Other Community Functions- There is usually the volunteer Fire Department, your local Law Enforcement, Colleges, and a host of other events going on in your community. Get your paper out and start promoting your business today!
