by Rebecca Game How to Apply for a Grant
There are two "major" types of grants and they are academic grants and research grants. If you are looking for a "business grant" then your business would would have to be involved in one of these two areas, otherwise what you would need a is a small business loan. These two things can get confusing. A grant is where the government is going to give you money because you are going to benefit humanity in some way, through education or through research. They are "granting" you the money to start or continue that education or research that benefits humanity. Whereas a small business loan is just that, a "loan" meaning you have to pay the money back. Sometimes the government will "grant" you money for free depending upon your income, but then again the money must be used for "educating or training" you. Applying for a business grant is very complex and therefore I would suggest hiring a professional "grant writer". They know all the ins and outs of applying for a business grant or even for a grant for non-profit organizations. This is not something I would tackle on my own as again, you have to do a lot of market research and provide demographics and other tools proving you are worthy of the grant. I would suggest going through a reputable firm or using someone that has applied for business grants before so they can show you the ropes, like Deborah Kluge of ProposalWriter.com If you just need a loan to get going and your credit is not perfect try Business Loans / Payday Loans Rebecca Game Advertising Rates |Digital-Women Grants Loans Networking - Business Loans for Women - Government Grants - Sitemap - Pro Membership - Free Membership - BLOG Copyright © 1998-2009 Digital Women
