Do you think you, or someone you know, might have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia? Come to the following workshop to learn more. The onset of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia (FMS) can turn your life, or the life of someone you love, into endless days of turmoil; creating great suffering and loss. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates more than one million people in the United States, from every age, ethnic and socioeconomic group, have CFS. There is no diagnostic test, and there is no cure. However, you can improve your function and quality of life.
I have walked this path. I understand the endless suffering, and the courage and self-love that is required to find peace and the opportunity for health. You can be a Courageous Warrior ; using illness as a tool for change can be transformational. In this class, I will be sharing my recovery story, providing education on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, exploring various coping skills, and discussing how illness can be a teacher. You can find love and compassion on your peaceful path!
Pat Gurnick is a psychotherapist (over 20 years), and survivor of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. Through her experience, wisdom, and sensitivity, she has the unique ability to understand your challenges. As a
psychotherapist, she looks forward to helping you attain a better quality of life. To continue her commitment to helping people recover from CFS/
